A Terrapin's View
I have the opportunity to observe waterlily stems from an underwater vantage point at one of my favorite places in Florida. The winding and twisting stems captured my imagination, turning into an ongoing series of abstracted paintings.
This painting imagines the view from the shallows of a pond, or perhaps a canal, where the water would be more green than blue from algae, plant matter and particulates.
Oils on stretched canvas. This product is 20” x 20” x 0.5” with painted sides and will ship unframed.
